Members Make a Difference!
Started in 1912, The Outdoor Circle is a statewide membership organization. A recognized non-profit with branches throughout the Hawaiian Islands, our focus is to protect Hawai‘i's unique natural beauty for future generations. We accomplish our mission through community improvement projects, public education, advocacy and more. Our work is led and implemented by volunteers with the support of a few staff people. Learn more about how you can get involved by learning more about our branches or become a member. Becoming a member of The Outdoor Circle includes optional membership in any of its branches, including the East Hawai‘i Island Branch. If you would like to take a more active role in the East Hawai‘i Island Outdoor Circle, we encourage you to become involved by attending our monthly meetings where we discuss issues and projects specific to our community.
