"Tahitian Lime, also known as ‘Bearss Lime’ is a medium sized, vigorous tree that bears fruit about ten months of the year. The fruit is seedless, juicy and the trees are prolific, dependable bearers. The skin of the fully ripe fruit will turn slightly yellow, but the juicy flesh inside is pale green, and has a true acid lime flavor. The consistent fruiting, dark green leaves and almost constant flowering make the Tahitian lime an excellent orchard tree or container plant for the lanai."

The Tahitian lime doesn’t have a true lime flavour as it is a hybrid X with a lemon. The West Indian lime has a true lime flavour, but the fruit has only about 1/3 juice content of the Tahitian lime. West Indian lime tree is really better in tropical climates rather than Mediterranean climate.
